Dungeon loop trial: tanks in the queue
When entering the loop, no tank signed up: warriors went round in circles between their capital and their stance quest, and a strength check that was too strict kept out characters that levelled up very fast. Both are fixed; on the test server, a tank without its stance does its quest and signs up in 6 minutes.

The finding
Two hours after the launch, the first autonomous players reach level 15 and enter the loop. At 22:00 UTC, 12 healers and 32 damage dealers were waiting in the Dungeon Finder, but no tank. Two causes:
- The tank stance quest: a tank warrior that did not have Defensive Stance yet must first finish its class quest. For an undead, it is handed in at Brill, 700 metres from Undercity. The loop sent it there, then brought it back to its capital on the next turn: it went round in circles, and the Dungeon Finder refused it.
- A strength check that was too strict: having levelled up very fast through quests, many reach level 15 with gear of about level 10. The strength check, calibrated for solo fights, kept them out of every dungeon, Ragefire Chasm included.
The fixes
- In the loop, the tank stance quest now comes before going back to the capital: the tank goes and does it, learns its stance, then comes back to sign up.
- The strength check margin is raised for the trial: a group of five level 15 to 18 characters in quest gear can beat Ragefire Chasm. The gear gap will close with dungeon loot.
Checked on the test server
Two level 15 tanks without their stance: the undead goes to Brill, summons Ulag the Cleaver, learns Defensive Stance, comes back to Undercity and signs up as a tank, in 6 minutes; the orc does "The Path of Defense" right after.
Deployment
The new version of the module is installed on the server; the strength margin was changed live, without a restart.
