Third server crash (3 November, 23:47 UTC): fixed

The server stopped a third time: it confirmed a short teleport for an autonomous player already out of the world, in the middle of logging out. That confirmation is no longer sent outside the world. The trial's three crashes each have their fix.

The finding

On 3 November at 23:47 UTC, the game server stopped a third time, then restarted by itself. The cause is again different from the previous two.

An autonomous player in Stormwind was logging out, so already out of the world, when the server confirmed a short teleport for it. That confirmation put it back on a map it was no longer on, and an internal server check stopped the game.

The fix

A teleport confirmation is no longer sent for a character that is not in the world, as a real client would only confirm it while in game. This applies to autonomous players as well as to players' auto mode.

Checked on the test server

A 10-minute check with autonomous players in the dungeon loop: no crash.

Deployment

The new version of the module is installed on the server. The trial's three crashes now each have their fix.
