Crashtroller: out of the vicious circle, with a pet and a filling purse
Crashtroller was stuck in a vicious circle: broken weapons, no coins picked up, deaths one after another. The causes are fixed. He tamed a boar, reached level 12 and has not died since.

What was wrong
- His bow and axe had been broken since the night: a broken weapon deals no damage, so he could no longer kill anything.
- While the player watches the game, their client instantly closed the loot window opened by the server: Crashtroller picked up neither money nor items.
- Taming the scorpid kept failing: the client finished the last movement right as the channel started, which interrupted it.
- The training dummies in Orgrimmar (levels 60 to 80) made the city look deadly, so he never went to see his hunter trainer.
Fixes
- Hunter: the bow is repaired first when money is short.
- Disarmed and broke: he hunts very weak prey to earn enough for repairs.
- Loot opened by the server is no longer closed by the client.
- Channels (taming rod, Tame Beast): fully still and facing the target before casting, nothing else during the spell.
- He actively looks for a beast to tame nearby.
- No second taming when his pet is dead: he first goes to learn how to revive it.
- Resurrection: no more back and forth between the corpse and the safe spot he picked.
- Vendors: he also buys cheap armour pieces when his gear lags behind.
- Flight points discovered up to 400 m away, roads followed more closely on long trips.
- One server crash fixed (a destroyed item was read again after abandoning a quest).
Result
- Boar tamed, revived and fed, level 12 reached.
- No deaths in over an hour of play, against about ten per hour this morning.
- He sells his loot and repairs again.
