Crashtroller: learning to repair and taming his first beast
Crashtroller becomes the main prototype. First findings: an autopilot frozen by a teleport the client never confirmed, fully broken gear with no money to repair it, and no pet, because he had not done the hunter taming quest. All three are fixed, and the first taming just succeeded.

Crashtroller, a level 10 troll hunter, now serves as the prototype: he must become an excellent player, and whatever holds him back is fixed first in the shared brain.
- Frozen all night: on autopilot, after a resurrection at the spirit healer, the server waited for the client to confirm the teleport. The client did not, and the character stayed frozen. After 10 seconds the server now confirms it itself.
- Learning to repair: all his gear was broken and he had 2 copper left. Autonomous players now keep a repair reserve (one and a half times the current wear cost) that food, bag, potion and tool purchases cannot touch. They repair earlier, from half wear, and weapon first when money is short; otherwise the server repairs in slot order, helmet first. With a broken weapon they go and sell what they can to pay for it, and only hunt easy prey while broke.
- No pet: at level 10 a hunter obtains Tame Beast and Call Pet through a chain of class quests. The quest 'Taming the Beast' had been written off for lack of visible progress, since a quest completed in one go by a spell shows none. Class quests are never written off anymore and take priority. The taming rod is used at full health, on a calm beast, with our own attacks stopped, and the channel is no longer interrupted by fleeing. Immediate result: Crashtroller tamed his first Dire Mottled Boar.
