Autonomous players: the hunter backs off, the angler heads to the shore

In melee, a hunter wing-clips their target to slow it, then steps back to resume shooting instead of insisting with refused shots. A player who feels like fishing walks to the nearest shore instead of waiting for water to come to them. Warriors, with their stance back, now account for 17% of deaths, down from 23%.

  • Hunters: stuck against the monster, they kept casting shots refused as 'too close'. They now use Wing Clip in melee, then back off 11 to 15 m to a clear spot once the target is slowed, as human hunters do.
  • Fishing: until now one had to be within 20 m of water when the urge came, which almost never happened in quest zones. The player now looks for a shore within 200 m, walks there and settles facing the water.
  • Stance results: before the fix, warriors accounted for 23% of deaths (00:35-00:52 UTC); they now account for 17% (01:21-01:45 UTC), roughly their share of the population.
  • Night: around 4 am, AFK breaks (54) and offline breaks (43) follow one another, and the population shrinks gently.
