Continuous bug hunt on autogaming
A detector runs every minute over the 300 virtual players' behaviour; it has already found players stuck under elevated NPCs and goal loops, and explains their "gliding" walk.
freewill-bughunt.py(every minute): repeated and alternating goals, idle players with no progress, players piled up on one spot, long deaths, useless vendor trips, server errors.- First results: 12 players stuck under a quest giver standing on a tower, 21 draenei lined up 15 m from an NPC, 10 players at a mine whose objective is 30 m below, two players looping on a patrolling NPC. Diagnoses sent and fixed (approach watchdog, target commitment, anti-oscillation guard).
- New 3.3.5a observer (
wow-observe.py): logs in like a player and reads the virtual players' movement flags. Finding: never a "falling" flag; the arms-out gliding walk comes from path points placed above the ground (corners not snapped, +10 cm). Fix sent. - Equipment: off-hand never evaluated for a weapon (a rogue holding an orb), stat weights off for Enhancement shamans and Balance druids. Fix sent.
