Autonomous players: first aid and fishing
Autonomous players learn first aid and fishing. They make bandages from the cloth they loot and bandage themselves after a fight. Now and then they take out their rod by the water, watch for a bite and strike.

First aid
- First aid is learned from a trainer. It is a secondary profession and does not replace herbalism or skinning.
- Cloth looted from humanoids (linen, wool, silk…) is no longer sold: somewhere quiet, the player turns it into bandages, one at a time, up to half a dozen, using the best recipe they know.
- After a fight, below 70% health, they apply a bandage before sitting down to eat, as players do to save time. The 'Recently Bandaged' delay is respected.
Fishing
- From level 10, the player learns fishing and buys a rod from a vendor.
- Now and then (every 1.5 to 4 hours), if they are within 20 m of water and no monster is around, they dismount, take out the rod, face the water and fish for 5 to 15 minutes: cast, watch the bobber, strike on the bite (with a human reaction time), loot the catch and cast again.
- If attacked, they put the rod away and take up their weapon at once.
